Singing in the rain

We were mostly rained out for the workday as it didn’t stop raining until ten oclock. Cheryl, John Severtson, and Don Burke, and I did manage to have a small but productive work day. Don helped drop many of the trees that are threatening the buildings. We all cleared the wood and limbs from the driveway. The attached photo is some of the logs.
John and I repaired the broken awning of the outhouse down at the river. We didn’t get the camp enlarged but it was mowed.
I’m hoping to see the slab and plumbing started.
I’m informed that we need a licensed electrician to sign off on the work on the new toilet building for inspection – this is an area we really need some help with.
Let me know if you have a group wanting to float the river.
            God bless!   Randy

Cattle Creek Christian Camp is Coming Along

Hi Everyone,
Wanted to let you know that cement was poured today at Cattle Creek for the foundation on the shower house. I’m told that they will have the plumbing and slab done within a week if the weather cooperates.
We have ordered the steel roofing, trusses and OSB sheeting which will be delivered to the site.
I’m looking for help with donated construction lumber. We are planning to pre-fabricate the walls here in Clear Lake this summer so any donations of materials would be appreciated. We would be willing to pull nails to reuse 2x4s. We are looking for windows, doors, nails, 2x10s for headers, etc.
Thanks to everyone for their donations and prayers!
                    God bless!
